How an Equal-Opportunist Views the Super Bowl

If you’re anything like the Focus Marketing + PR Team, you intently watched Super Bowl LIII, when it aired on Sunday, Feb. 3. Now, be honest – did you tune into America’s largest television event to watch the two teams do battle, or was it to see the parade of iconic commercials? There’s no shame in whatever your game. 

At Focus, we consider ourselves equal-opportunists. Truth be told, the event was our entrée to the commercials – if it weren’t for the game, no manufacturer, creator or producer would have forked over upwards of $5.3 million for a 30-second commercial spot (the cost of just one commercial in this year’s Super Bowl, according to entertainment business news, Variety), but we’re sure glad they did.
