Who is Focus Marketing & PR?

Like many small firms, we have undergone several transitions in our 17 years in business.  A few weeks ago, I realized that I hadn’t shared our true mission and vision in a while.

So who is Focus Marketing & PR?  We are a company that believes in elevating the good in the world.  With our media experience and media contacts, we are able to spread stories that are positive, uplifting and shine a light on the good things happening each and every day in our community and in my home state of Colorado.  These are interesting times, and many people have been turned off of the media because they feel it is too negative.

While I understand this, I also want to say that the people we know in the media are good people, and they are hungry for great stories about great people that are doing great things.  But the key here is, we have to tell them about these stories, invite them in, and share them.  That is where we come in.  One of my media contacts did a news story for a client of mine recently, and she said to my client, “I like to work with Niki because she always gives me positive stories that are happening in the community.”  And I can tell you that every single time we give a contact a positive story, they thank me for the opportunity to focus on an uplifting story rather than something filled with doom and gloom.

So our mission is to continue to spread the positive and share the good.  Because we truly believe that amazing things are happening each and every day in communities across the world, and we want to be a part of flipping the narrative.
